It's been a nice, laid back kind of week. Kirsten has gone to school. Reagan has gone to Preschool. We've gone on a couple of little outings, including the Harvest Moon Hurrah in Spanish Fork.
Tuesday afternoon I took the girls to the library, and we read for a long time, which is what we do when we go to the library. They love books, and believe me, I rarely reach the limit of their attention span when it comes to reading. Every time I take them to the library we have to limit ourselves to checking out 15 books, which is already an absurd number of books, but without that limit, we would likely take the entire children's section home with us.
The library also has a nice fountain and a little playground that they like to play in before or after we check out our books.

Reagan was so proud that she could do it too! |
Saturday evening we went to the Harvest Moon Hurrah in Spanish Fork, which was a free event with children's activities and live entertainment. We met up with my parents and my brother and his kids, too. The line for the balloon animals was so long that all of the other children's events closed by the time we got their balloons, which was a bummer, but the girls were so pleased with their animals that they didn't mind.

Then we took pictures in these back drops.
As part of the live entertainment, BYU's Vocal Point performed, which was a fantastic performance to get to see and the main reason we attended the Harvest Moon Hurrah. Vocal Point is an acapella men's group, and they are quite entertaining to listen to. We stayed until about nine, which obviously got the girls to bed really late, but we had a great time.
On Monday night the girls and Matt created this dog pile. It looks like Porter wants to join in too!
Looks like so much fun! I miss you!
